Jason Harold Windett, class of 2007, is originally from Georgetown, DE and he completed his BA in Political Science at Catawba College in 2005. While completing his MA degree at ASU, he taught two of his own sections of PS 1100 and presented his own research at the NCPSA and the SPSA conferences. His thesis examined the influence of environmental factors on presidential power in the legislative arena. He is currently a fourth year PhD student at UNC Chapel Hill and his dissertation topic is on state contextual effects on gender and minority candidates for gubernatorial primary and general elections. Jason's future plans are to teach and continue researching American Politics at which ever university will hire me.
