Lethia Williams, class of 2011, is the mother of a six-year-old son, who after several years as a Paramedic returned to finish her education. She earned her BA in Political Science from UNC, Wilmington in 2009. During her first year at ASU, she worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Department's Stat lab with Dr. Ehrhardt. She has a co-authored article which has been accepted for publication, "Assessing Aggressive Democracy Promotion: Military Intervention and Democratization in the Post-World War II Era," and is currently writing a chapter for a book about the use of military force in democratization. After completing her M.A degree, she plans to pursue a PhD in International Relations and work for the United Nations before settling down as a professor.
