Micheal Georger, class of 2011, earned his BS from ASU in 2006. During his first stint at ASU he ran for Mayor of Boone, receiving 17% of the vote while relying strictly on free advertisement. After deciding politics wasn't for him, he enrolled at the Pennsylvania State University School of Law in the fall of 2006. Upon graduating in 2009, he realized he did not want to be a lawyer and came back to ASU to work on a MA in International Relations and Comparative Politics. He works with Dr. Nancy Love as a copy editor for the journal New Political Science. He is a dual-presenter at this year's APSA conference, with both presentations focusing on LGBT rights. After graduation, he plans to puruse a PhD either in IR/Comparative or Political Psychology.
