After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Legal Studies, Courtney Bradway continued her education at Appalachian State University through the Accelerated Admissions Program. With a concentration in American Government, Bradway graduated the MA Political Science Program in August of 2016. Courses such as Washington at Work and the Iowa Project inspired Bradway's path after graduation. Moving to the nation's capital, she held positions in three congressional offices. Most recently working on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Correspondent to U.S. Senator Bob Corker, Bradway is now the Director of Congressional Liaison in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Legislation at the Department of Health and Human Services. Experiences throughout the MA program, such as presenting research at MPSA and coding data have strengthened her capabilities as a candidate for many professions.
